Closed Pilot Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 August 2026
1. Operator and scope
Restork is operated by Restork pilot operator — registration pending, at Athens, Greece — full address pending registration. These terms apply only to the invitation-only Athens pilot.
Restork provides technology that connects guests with independent accommodation hosts. Restork is not the accommodation provider and is not a party to the stay agreement between a guest and a host.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and use the platform only for lawful accommodation activity. We may suspend accounts that create safety, fraud, compliance, or abuse risks.
3. Requests, offers and bookings
A guest posts a time-limited accommodation request. Eligible hosts may respond with one total price and optional conditions. A booking is confirmed when the guest accepts an active offer. The accepted offer and chat form part of the direct agreement between guest and host.
Restork may close expired requests and competing offers automatically. A confirmed booking does not mean that Restork has charged or received money.
4. Closed-pilot payment model
Restork does not process card payments, hold money in escrow, collect a platform commission, or make host payouts during the closed pilot. The guest pays the agreed total directly to the host at check-in, using a method agreed with the host.
The host is responsible for issuing any legally required receipt or invoice and for accounting for taxes arising from the stay.
5. Host obligations
Hosts must have the legal right to offer the accommodation and must provide a valid AMA, MHTE, or other applicable registration or licence number. Restork may manually verify the number and refuse or withdraw approval.
Hosts are responsible for accurate property information, availability, safety, insurance, guest registration and tax declarations, and compliance with Greek and local rules. Registration approval by Restork is a platform check, not a government certification.
6. Guest obligations
Guests must provide accurate stay and guest information, respect the property rules, communicate arrival changes promptly, and pay the host as agreed. Guests must not use the service for unlawful activity, impersonation, harassment, or fraudulent bookings.
7. Cancellations, no-shows and disputes
The closed pilot uses the cancellation rules described in our Cancellation Policy and any additional terms clearly disclosed by the host before confirmation. Because Restork does not receive the payment, any refund or payment dispute is handled directly between guest and host.
Restork may help the parties communicate and may review account conduct, but does not guarantee a particular financial outcome.
8. Content and acceptable use
Users retain ownership of their content and grant Restork a limited licence to store, display and transmit it for operating and improving the platform. Users must not upload unlawful, misleading, infringing, malicious, or privacy-invasive content.
9. Availability and liability
The pilot is provided on a best-effort basis and may change or be unavailable. Restork does not guarantee that a guest will receive an offer or that a host or guest will complete a stay.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights, Restork is not responsible for acts, omissions, property conditions, direct payments, or accommodation services provided by users.
10. Law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by Greek law and applicable European Union law. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction rights continue to apply. Material pilot changes will be communicated in the platform or by email.
